Acculon Bead Wire

Acculon is plastic coated miniature wire cable. It is excellent for many bead projects and seems nearly indestructible. Great for stringing fire polish beads and others with small holes. We've been joking around the store that this is such an "old school" product when compared to newer materials like Soft Flex, Soft Touch, etc. Nevertheless, it is still a great product with lots of uses.

Cotton Thread - Hand Quilting

This is an outstanding 100% cotton thread for use in your beadwork and other projects. It is heavier than regular thread and is really strong. While Nymo has it's uses, we prefer the cotton thread because it does not stretch. The trick to tight, firm beadwork is to fill the bead hole with the thread, not pull tighter. When doubled and waxed, this thread does the trick. Because of its weight, you may not be able to fit it through every beading needle. We use it successfully with #12 sharps but sometimes must be selective with the needles. This is the only thread we use of our personal projects. Comes on an old-time wooden spool in 1500 yards (that's a lot!).

Cotton Thread - Heavy Duty #12

A very strong 100% cotton thread. This is nice to use when you want to sew with thread and not imitation sinew. Note that this is far too heavy to use for beadwork. However, it is an excellent size to use for the warp threads on loom beadwork. Sold on an old-time wooden spool. Size #12.

Cotton Thread - Standard Weight

Excellent quality 100% cotton thread in a standard weight. For some beading projects, the hand quilting thread is too thick. When you don't want to use a Nymo, this is what you need. And of course, it is excellent for general sewing needs. Available in white only. 1000 yard spools.

Flex-Rite Stainless Steel Bead Wire - 49 Strand - 24K Gold

Flex-rite is very fine stainless steel wire coated in clear nylon. It is extremely strong and is excellent for heavy projects or where the beads may abrade the thread. The 49-strand type is the most flexible of the Flex-Rite line and is very fluid. The wire is plated in 24K gold and is beautiful for projects using translucent beads where the wire can be seen. Very elegant.

Natural hemp cord is the preferred choice for use in crafts, including jewelry making, scrapbooking, handmade cards, gardening and more! Hemp cord is a natural, biodegradable, and eco-friendly alternative to cotton and synthetic cordage. Each box contains 3 spools: 1 black, 1 brown, and 1 natural. Available in two sizes, 0.55 mm and 1mm diameters. There are appoximately 20 ft on each spool for the 0.55 mm and 10 ft for the 1 mm.
