Large "L" or "elbow" shaped pipe bowl carved from Catlinite by Lakota pipe carver, Alan Monroe. Elbow bowls were used by both men and women, and these will be good for ceremonial use or for pleasure. Average dimensions are about 3 inches long. Exact shape may vary from the bowl illustrated as each bowl is hand carved and the design is determined based on the shape of the stone. This is the bowl only, no stem is included. Alan quarries all his pipestone from his pit at the Pipestone National Monument in Minnesota. Shipping will be less than quoted due to light weight.
