A Tribute to the Elders

We would like to dedicate this recording to our teachers Willie Bad Hand, Percy Bad Hand, Roy Bad Hand, Sr., Burgess Yellow Cloud, and Sam Wounded Head (who were all veterans of World War II and the Korean War) and to Leo Chasing in Timber, Sr. These individuals were the old Red Leaf singers, and have kept these songs alive for many years. We have been very fortunate to have such good teachers, and we want to honor them with these old Warrior Society songs and all other past, present, and future veterans in Indian Country.
