Thunderflute
"Great Spirit, when I hear your singing voice echo across our vast Dakota lands, I thank thee. Great Spirit, we will ever know while others all around may plan, thy thoughts are not of race nor creed, only the brotherhood of man. This makes me smile inside." With these words, Bryan Akipa, of the Sisseton/Wahpeton Dakota Nation introduces his most recent recordings of the Native American flute. The songs resonate with deep drumbeats in the background, reminiscent of thunder.
