This kit teaches closed coiling basket techniques and the designs of many traditional North American Indian tribes from Alaska, California and the Southwest. Typical basketry plants used by each tribe are described. Makes one 9" tray or one 4"-6" diameter bowl. The kit contains natural and dyed raffia, fiber rush, tapestry needles, and an easy-to-follow instruction booklet.
