Traditional Apache Songs

Recorded between 1966 and 1986, this collection brings together the traditional music of the San Carlos and White Mountain Apache tribes. Containing both ceremonial and social songs, this recording features performances by renowned San Carlos singers Philip and Patsy Cassadore and provides a rare glimpse into the rich imagery of traditional Western Apache culture.

Some of the recordings were originally released on Songs of the Arizona Apache (CR-705) and Songs of the White Mountain Apache (CR-6165).
