Masterworks from the Heard Museum
A wonderful boxed set of three separate publications illustrating many of the exquisite pieces housed in the Heard Museum of Arizona. So Fine! looks at many fine art objects, mostly paintings and drawings but also some sculpture and other art pieces. Hold Everything! presents many of the baskets and pots in the collection. Among them are excellent examples of work by the Hopi, Apache, O'ohdam, Panamint, Acoma, and other peopls.Be Dazzled! illustrates beadwork and jewelry. As many of our customers know, we have quite a soft spot for Plains beadwork. This volume has lots amazing objects including four Cheyenne, two Kiowa, and two Sioux pipebags, flat bags, leggings, moccasins, and more. Oh, and there is a lot of jewelry, too!
