How the Title Search Works

The title search allows you to look for books, music, and other products by specifying words or parts of words which occur in the title or subtitle. To improve your chances of finding the right item, certain non-significant words are ignored. At present, the following words will have no effect on a title search:

• and, or, the, of, vol, in, to, a

There are three ways to search by title:

Start of Title

Enter the exact start of the title.You may omit the ignored words.

Example:

To search for the book "A Song to the Creator" you may enter

• A Song to the Creator

• A Song

• Song Creator ("A", "to", and "the" are ignored)

Title Words

Enter words which occur in the title. The words must match exactly.

Example:

To search for the book "Cheyenne Dog Soldiers" you may enter

• Cheyenne

• Dog

• Dog Soldiers

Note that "soldier" will not match "soldiers"

Start of Title Words

Enter the first few characters of words which occur in the title.

Example:

To search for the book "Women and Warriors of the Plains" you may enter

• Warrior

• Wom War Plain

• Plains Warrior
